This nationally recognised unit provides the skills and knowledge required to responsibly sell, serve, and supply alcohol while meeting the requirements of NSW liquor licensing legislation. The course covers key topics such as checking identification, recognising signs of intoxication, refusing service when required, understanding standard drinks, and applying harm minimisation strategies to create a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons.

This course is suitable for anyone seeking employment or currently working in an environment where alcohol is sold, served, or supplied. Whether you are entering the hospitality industry for the first time or need to update your qualifications, RSA training provides the foundation you need to work responsibly and professionally.
From 01 Dec 2025, all students will be required to complete an additional training module (following completion of this SITHFAB021 course), via the vic.gov.au website before you can receive your RSA Victoria certificate.
LCV RSA Certificate Database will send you an email, with a link to the LCV Learning Hub to complete an online 60-minute self-paced module Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond (SHARPR).
Once you have successfully completed the online course with ITFE you will receive an email from LCV with a link to the SHARPR module, and LCV Learning Hub will generate the LCV RSA Certificate of Completion, which you can download from the hub.
This course is delivered and assessed in English. Applicants are required to complete a short LLN assessment at the time of enrolment and must have or obtained a USI.
Learners who successfully complete the course will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for SITHFAB021 Provide responsible service of alcohol.
