iTFE’s Food Safety Supervisor course provides supervisors in hospitality businesses with the required certification for the role. The course includes SITXFSA006 Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices (Food Safety Supervisor) with the integration of state legislation that affects food businesses.

Food Safety Supervisor requirements are determined by state and territory food legislation and the nature of the food business. Many jurisdictions require designated Food Safety Supervisors (FSS) to hold nationally recognised food safety training, commonly including SITXFSA006 Participate in safe food handling practices and SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety.

This online course is available in every Australian state and territory.

Requirements

If you are required to hold the Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) accreditation and have not completed SITXFSA005, we recommend you complete the Skill Set which has both units of competency.

Entry Requirements

• Applicants will need to supply their USI number or apply for one
• Complete a short LLN assessment
• May be available to non-citizens depending on the visa type.
