Provide First Aid Pathway to Employment

This Pre-Employment program provides essential first aid skills to support employment across a range of industries. It is a 1-day course and is open to anyone with the required written and spoken English skills. Assessments include a combination of multiple-choice quizzes, short answer questions and role plays. Students who attend all sessions and successfully complete all the Assessment Conditions of the units of competency will be issued a Statement of Attainment.

About the course

Gain the essential skills and knowledge required to respond to emergency situations in workplaces and community settings. This program delivers nationally recognised first aid training aligned to Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, supporting job readiness across sectors such as care, hospitality, education and retail. Participants gain practical, job‑relevant skills that enhance employability and meet workplace safety requirements

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

It is mandatory for all students undertaking Nationally Recognised Training in Australia to have a  Unique Student Identifier (USI). Students will need their USI  to apply to enrol for training. Visit www.usi.gov.au  for more information.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have or be able to achieve written and spoken English skills to the certificate level of the course, or the ability to develop these skills whilst in training to meet the requirements of the qualification. To allow our trainers to support your learning, students will need to complete a student profile, including language, literacy and numeracy indicators before their enrolment application is accepted.

NB: Participants must be capable of kneeling for extended periods of time to demonstrate CPR competency.
