Hospitality Essentials Pathway to Employment

Through the Pre-employment Program, learners have the opportunity to gain knowledge about the hospitality industry, the jobs and career prospects it offers, and the confidence and skills to begin a successful career in the field. They will receive accredited qualifications, allowing them to pursue further studies and secure long-term employment. The 6-day program runs three days a week and is available to any potential participant with the necessary English language competencies. Upon successful completion, participants will be rewarded with a Statement of Attainment for the accredited training.

A training program supporting participants to gain entry level employment or a traineeship in the Hospitality sector

By taking part in the Pre-employment Program, learners will have the chance to become educated about the hospitality industry and the job and career prospects it provides. This training will give participants the confidence and skills needed to kickstart a successful career in this field. Furthermore, they will gain accredited qualifications that will allow them to explore further study options and find flexible, long-term employment. After completing the course, participants will be rewarded with a Statement of Attainment for all the accredited training.

All sessions are face to face 10am to 3pm, 3 days per week.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

It is mandatory for all students undertaking Nationally Recognised Training in Australia to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Students will need their USI to apply to enrol for training. Visit www.usi.gov.au for more information.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have or be able to achieve written and spoken English skills to the certificate level of the course, or the ability to develop these skills whilst in training to meet the requirements of the qualification. To allow our trainers to support your learning, students will need to complete a student profile, including language, literacy and numeracy indicators before their enrolment application is accepted.
