This 6-day Pre-Employment Program gives a thorough understanding of the Disability Support sector, such as job possibilities, competency units recognized nationally, and the important abilities and expertise employers are seeking. The course is spread over 3 days per week and is available to anyone possessing the necessary verbal and written English skills. Upon completing the program successfully, participants will be granted a Statement of Attainment for all accredited instruction.

About the course
Upon completion of the Pre-employment program, learners will gain an understanding of the disability support sector and its potential for career and employment opportunities. They will build the confidence to work professionally and safely with people who have disabilities. Additionally, they will receive accredited training to enhance their chances of being employed in the sector and explore study options to gain a full qualification. Upon successful completion, learners will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for all accredited training.

All sessions are face to face 10am to 3pm, 3 days per week.
Unique Student Identifier (USI)
It is mandatory for all students undertaking Nationally Recognised Training in Australia to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Students will need their USI to apply to enrol for training. Visit www.usi.gov.au for more information.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have or be able to achieve written and spoken English skills to the certificate level of the course, or the ability to develop these skills whilst in training to meet the requirements of the qualification. To allow our trainers to support your learning, students will need to complete a student profile, including language, literacy and numeracy indicators before their enrolment application is accepted.
