CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge to work professionally, confidently, safely and competently in residential or home based disability support services. You will work under supervision following the policies and procedures of the organisation providing person centred care and support to Australians experiencing disability. 

Course Overview

• Paid on-the-job training under supervision of employer (Traineeship only) 
• Ongoing trainer contact and support 
• Regular face to face workshops and networking opportunities 
• Face to face / virtual workplace visits for practical training & assessment activities 
• Delivered over 12 months as a traineeship 
• Delivered over 7 months as a non traineeship

Accreditation

This course is nationally accredited as CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).

Mandatory Hours

To achieve this qualification, the individual must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.

Please discuss the requirements of the mandatory hours with a student support officer prior to enrolment if you are not currently employed in a relevant role.

Please note: A successful Police Check and Working With Children Check (WWCC) will be required prior to commencing placement hours.
