Starting up and running your own small business can be a daunting prospect. However, with the right support, training and guidance it can be one of the most rewarding and self-satisfying of life’s achievements. Designed to equip budding and existing entrepreneurs with small business fundamentals such as researching your market, developing a business plan, personal and team development, marketing, keeping track of your finances, networking and business development.

Who is this course for?

BSB30220 – Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and New Business enables aspiring entrepreneurs to take the next step in getting their small business off the ground.

You will explore business opportunities and develop a business plan, complete with financial tables. You will also develop skills essential to running a small business, such as customer service, finance, and marketing.

Application

This qualification will provide you with the skills you need for a successful and sustainable small business.

Accreditation

On successful completion of all course requirements, including assessment, work placement and attendance, students will be issued with BSB30220 Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and New Business.

Entry Requirements

iTFE accepts applications from domestic students. Training and assessment are conducted in English and some assessment tasks are completed using a computer and the internet.

Standard applicants must complete the following to determine suitability:
• Pre-training Review (PTR)
• Literacy and numeracy Quiz and digital capability questions.

Traineeship applicants must complete the following to determine suitability:
• Pre-training Review (PTR)
• Literacy and numeracy Quiz and digital capability questions
• Must be employed as a Trainee
• Must have an active Australian Apprentice number prior to commencing the course.

What you need to bring

To successfully complete this course you will need access to a computer/laptop, a reliable internet connection, reading and writing skills to at least AQF level 2, and have reasonable digital capability skills. All courses are delivered and assessed in English. Student must be able to communicate in English. iTFE will review these skills during the application process.
