Retail Essentials Pathway to Employment

By pursuing a career in retail, you can acquire essential professional experience, develop your knowledge of business, and refine your interpersonal abilities, all of which can be used in various other occupations. This is a 6-day course that runs three days a week and is available to anyone with the required written and spoken English competencies. After finishing the program successfully, participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for all accredited training.

A training program supporting participants to gain entry level employment or a traineeship in the Retail industry

By enrolling in the Pre-employment program, you can gain a better understanding of the retail industry and the various job and career opportunities it has to offer. Through this six-day course, which is offered three days a week, you will learn essential professional skills, develop your knowledge of business, and hone your interpersonal skills, all of which can be applied to a variety of occupations. To be eligible for this program, you must possess the necessary written and spoken English abilities. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for all accredited training.

All sessions are face to face 10am to 3pm, 3 days per week.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

It is mandatory for all students undertaking Nationally Recognised Training in Australia to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Students will need their USI to apply to enrol for training. Visit www.usi.gov.au for more information.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have or be able to achieve written and spoken English skills to the certificate level of the course, or the ability to develop these skills whilst in training to meet the requirements of the qualification. To allow our trainers to support your learning, students will need to complete a student profile, including language, literacy and numeracy indicators before their enrolment application is accepted.
