Early Childhood as an Educator Pathway to Employment

Participants in this 6-day course will gain the confidence and skills necessary to start a successful career in the Early Childhood sector, as well as accredited qualifications to open the door to further study opportunities and secure long-term employment. This course runs three days per week and is available to all who meet the required English language proficiency. On successfully completing the program, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment that certifies all of their accredited training.

A training program supporting participants to gain entry level employment or a traineeship as an Educator in the Child Care sector

The Pre-employment Program provides an overview of the Child Care sector and the various opportunities it presents for employment and career growth. It encourages the learner to gain confidence to work professionally in the Early Childhood sector, undertake accredited training to enhance employment prospects, explore study options for a full qualification, and seek and secure flexible, long-term employment in the Child Care sector. On successful completion of the program, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment that recognizes all accredited training.

All sessions are face to face 10am to 3pm, 3 days per week.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

It is mandatory for all students undertaking Nationally Recognised Training in Australia to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Students will need their USI to apply to enrol for training. Visit www.usi.gov.au for more information.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have or be able to achieve written and spoken English skills to the certificate level of the course, or the ability to develop these skills whilst in training to meet the requirements of the qualification. To allow our trainers to support your learning, students will need to complete a student profile, including language, literacy and numeracy indicators before their enrolment application is accepted.
