Every food business in Victoria must have a food safety supervisor.
iTFE’s 7-hour course provides supervisors in hospitality businesses with the required certification for the role. The course includes SITXFSA002 Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices (Food Safety Supervisor) with the integration of Victorian state legislation that affects food businesses.
Please note: Participants must have completed SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety or equivalent unit prior to attending the course.
This course is also available online in all Australian states and territories.
SITXFSA002 Participate in safe food handling practices.
Students receive a certificate of participation upon completion of this course.
The course is run over 7 consecutive hours at our Melbourne training centres.
Participants must have completed SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety or equivalent unit prior to attending the course.
Participants are required to have their Unique Student Identifier (USI) number and bring proof of identification documents, such as a passport or driver’s licence on the day of training. If you don’t have a USI, please visit https://www.usi.gov.au/ to register your details and receive your number.
