Barista Coffee Art (Level 2)
Welcome to the real world! Our Barista Coffee (level 2) course will place you on top of the candidate's list for barista work.
This course is tailor-made for the hospitality industry and is well recognised. During the three-hour course, you will master milk texturing, coffee art techniques, learn advanced efficiency techniques, grasp new types of espresso coffee and harness an understanding of coffee roasting methods. The Barista Coffee Art Course is a three-hour addition to the four-hour course Barista Coffee Course (Level 1). The course is held during the afternoon, following the lunch break. The course is designed for new coffee entrants to enable them to refine their basic coffee skills learnt during the morning course.
The Barista Coffee Level 2 course covers the following topics:
- Preparing a range of espresso coffees
- Preparing your milk for coffee art
- Layering of coffee
- Coffee machine operation
- Free pouring
- Coffee art techniques
- Mixing
- Practice each coffee on the menu
- 1 hour of free supervised practice
- Job Referral Information.
Note: NSW Students on a Student VISA (subclass 500) are not eligible for enrolment.

Please be aware that it is a prerequisite for participants to complete our Barista Level 1 Course to participate this class. Course modules
The Barista Level 2 course is based upon the nationally accredited unit ‘Prepare and serve espresso coffee’ (SITHFAB204) by the Australian National Training Authority.
Employment outcomes
In our Barista Level 2 course participants will gain further hands-on experience using a coffee machine with an additional hour of supervised practice, as well as, further instruction and support to excel at coffee making.
Students receive a certificate of participation upon completion of this course.
Course structure
Course is run over three consecutive hours.
Requirements
Barista Coffee Level 1.
Please note as a part of Health and Safety Standards, ensure that you wear adequate footwear such as closed-in shoes to participate in this course.
Participants are also required to bring proof of identification documents, such as a passport or driver’s licence on the day of training.
