Bar Operations
Prepare yourself for working behind a bar with skills and tips from Industry professionals, so that you will impress both management and customers alike.
In iTFE's four-hour course you will gain an understanding of:
- Opening and serving wine
- Mixing and serving spirits
- Mixing drinks
- Preparing the bar for service
- Bar duties
- Hygiene and appearance
- Glassware and bar etiquette
- Cleaning & maintenance of equipment
- Job Referral Information.
iTFE's Bar Operations course will give you a unique selling point against the competition and place yourself on the top of the candidate list.
Please note, if you want to work in a bar or serve alcohol anywhere in Australia, the law requires that you have a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate. iTFE hosts a number of RSA courses daily.
Students must wear closed toe shoes to the class and be over 18 years of age to attend this course.
Note: Students on a Student VISA (subclass 500) are not eligible for enrolment.
