Food Safety Supervisor NSW (Level 1 & Level 2)
Every food business in New South Wales must have a food safety supervisor.
iTFE’s intensive 8-hour course provides supervisors in hospitality businesses with the required certification for the role. The course includes both SITXFSA001 Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety (Food Safety Handler), and SITXFSA002 Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices (Food Safety Supervisor) NSW with the integration of New South Wales state legislation that affects food businesses. Course cost includes participants receiving their The NSW Food Authority Certificate.
This course can be completed online. Note: Students on a Student VISA (subclass 500) are not eligible for enrolment.
SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety or equivalent unit and SITXFSA002 Participate in safe food handling practices.
Students receive a certificate of participation upon completion of this course.
The course is run over 8 consecutive hours at our Parramatta and Chatswood training locations.
Participants are also required to bring proof of identification documents, such as a passport or driver’s licence on the day of training.
