CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate)

iTFE’s Certificate IV in Property services course will teach budding auctioneers, agent representatives and property service employees the vital skills necessary to take on their next challenge in the real estate industry.
Our comprehensive training course is presented by Melbourne’s leading real estate educators and will give you the qualifications required to become a licensed real estate agent, auctioneer or property manager. During the course, you will learn the essentials of property management and finances, managing agency risk, legislation, sales, establishing and expanding your client base, marketing and auctioning techniques.
Before completing this course, participants will need to attended and successfully completed a Victorian Real Estate Agent’s Representative training course.
iTFE delivers the Victorian Real Estate Agent’s Representative Training course at regular intervals throughout the year via our virtual classroom courses.
Students who are eligible for Government funding will be able undertake the Victorian Real Estate Agent's Representative training course as part of their CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) program.
Due to the current COVID-19 health emergency and social distancing restrictions in place, you can still undertake this course via our virtual classroom courses from the comfort of your own home.

    Due to the changes in Estate Agents (Education) Regulations 2020 and the qualification requirements coming to effect as of 30th September 2021, the course listed above is open to participants who are currently employed with a minimum of one (1) years experience in the Real Estate industry sector and have previously completed Victorian Real Estate Agent’s Representative Certificate or willing to undertake and complete an additional course within the first 3 months.

Employment outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be awarded the nationally accredited CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate). This qualification is required to become a Licensed Real Estate Agent or Auctioneer.
Course structure
  • One half day or evening per week (flexible to your working conditions)


  • Overall duration 10-12 months (taking into account relevant holiday periods).

Before undertaking this course, participants must have attended and successfully completed a Victorian Real Estate Agent’s Representative training course

Participants are required to bring proof of identification documents, such as a passport or driver’s licence on the day of training.

Students can enrol in CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) in either a government supported position or as a full fee paying participant.
